Summer Camps

We made some very exciting changes this past summer!

We changed our camp names, adjusted the length of two camps, and added a whole new week! Read the Q&A sections below for more information :)

What are the new camp names?

  • 1st & 2nd Grade = Kindle Camp
  • 3rd & 4th Grade = Glow Camp
  • 5th & 6th Grade = Spark Camp
  • 7th, 8th & 9th Grade = Flicker Camp
  • 8th, 9th & 10th Grade = Ignite Camp
  • 10th, 11th & 12th Grade = Illuminate Camp

Why did we add another week?

God is blessing our mission to introduce young people to the person of Jesus Christ and further their relationship with Him. He is bringing more and more campers every summer and we want to faithfully respond to His blessing! This extra week allows us to not only accommodate more campers but also to know them, love them, and care for them deeply while they are with us. So, invite your friends!

What if my grade level is listed for multiple weeks? Can I attend both?

We added an additional week to accommodate more campers; therefore, every camper may only attend one week. If you are an 8th, 9th or 10th grade camper, you have the flexibility to choose the week that works best for you. Don't forget to invite your friends!

Why have the camp names changed?

Because three of our camps have overlapping age groups, our old names based solely on grades no longer apply. We wanted the new names to reflect our heart for each camper. The names in order follow the progression of a growing fire: kindle, glow, spark, flicker, ignite, and illuminate. When each of us is introduced to the transformative power of Jesus Christ, we begin a lifelong process of being shaped, refined, purified, and consumed by Jesus to look more like Him. We pray over our campers that each year the fire in them to know and glorify Christ would grow in the same way and, when they graduate high school and begin their adult lives, that they would be an illuminating light wherever God may call them.

Why are the 3rd-4th and 5th-6th grade weeks done on Fridays?

Our Glow and Spark camps this year will end one day early on Friday morning. There are two main reasons for this change. First, camp is packed full of so much fun that our younger age groups are often ready to return home when Friday rolls around. We want them to return home with enough energy to share all of their wonderful experiences they had on the drive home. Second, with an additional week, we believe that it is important to give our full-time staff members time to rest and recharge as we near the end of our summer program so that every camper gets the best that we have to offer.

Camp Details

Kindle Camp

Children Completed 1st & 2nd Grade. Cost: $150.00

A 3 day resident (overnight) camp beginning with lunch on Friday through Sunday morning.

  • Registration: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Friday.
  • Pickup: 10:00 AM on Sunday. Please be prompt.

Children are taken care of and allowed to attend alone; or optionally, parents are welcome to attend this weekend along with their children for a small fee of $90.00. Many parents enjoy this since some 1st & 2nd grade children haven't spent much time away from home and this allows them to get the full camp experience without any concerns of how their child is doing while away. It also creates a wonderful opporutnity for parents and their children to create many long lasting memories of the games, activies, and experiences that they get to share together.

Camp Store

Money is deposited at the camp bank for safe keeping. The children are given a "store card" that works like cash, but is a card with their name on it which ensures that their money is not lost or stolen. The cards are kept by the camp staff, and give out each day to the kids for our afternoon store time.

The Camp store sells snacks, drinks, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and other souvenir items for the kids. We also sell photo CD's at the end of the week for the kids to take home to enjoy and share the memories from camp. All remaining money that is not spent will be refunded at the end of the week.
