Volunteer Roles
I am interested in volunteering in this way: (Mark as many or as few as you desire.)
Teaching a weekend class for adult programming.
Helping in the kitchen (during summer weekly camps, summer weekends, or winter weekends).
I am ServSafe certified and would like to help in the kitchen, or am willing to
I am a nurse or doctor willing to provide medical coverage for a camp event (or part of a week of camp).
Teaching a class during the summer camping season for kids.
Helping with cleaning or preparation inside buildings for camp to start in the spring (kitchen clean-up, lodge, bathrooms, cabins, etc)
Helping with major clean-up or repair operations (clearing downed trees, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, etc) --- When planned in advance only vs. I may be available to help during an urgent need with little advance notice, like after a storm.
Organizing games/sporting activities during camp programming.
Organizing a camp event not currently offered.
Being a leader of a camping program (like Summer Camp Director, Winter Camp Director, Dean for a week of camp, etc). Keep in mind that these individuals have to write/plan their own Biblical content as well.
Leading worship sessions (for a summer week-long camp, or a weekend camp).
Preparing and sending out mailings as needed.
I am skilled and would like to help with web site design and maintenance.
I am skilled with digital media and could help capture camp events through photography/videography.
I am an electrician and could help with electrical maintenance and expansion projects.
I am a plumber and could help with plumbing-related maintenance and expansion projects.
I live close to camp and could make sudden store runs during the weeks or weekends of camp programming (in my personal, insured vehicle).
I would like to donate something I think would help camp. (For example, past donations include beds, mattresses, a water softener, etc)
